DownTownSounds is a Dublin clubbing organisation that likes to hear anything and everything on a dancing night out. From funk, soul, disco, punkfunk and cosmic sounds to house, techno and electro, we like to hear it all!
We have been running parties since 2001, and currently run a weekly Friday night club in The Button Factory in Temple Bar called Nightflight as well as an intimate monthly party called 52FUNK. This takes place on the 2nd Saturday of each month in ‘The Underground’, a basement club underneath Kennedy’s bar on Westland Row…
Previous guests at our parties include The Unabombers, Nicky Siano, Lindstrom and Prins Thomas, Metro Area, Theo Parrish, Daniel Wang and Maurice Fulton.
